This Sunday, October 15th

Our laity serve a valuable role in the worship and life of the church.  Each week, we look for avenues of service that involves our church family.  On Sunday, October 15th, United Methodist Churches throughout the world will be celebrating Laity Sunday and you will notice many new faces leading us in worship, from the Welcome to the Message and Benediction.  We invite you to set aside this special day and join us in worship as we are led by our laity.

What It Means…Prayer, Presence, Gifts, Service, Witness
Our 2018 Stewardship Journey began last week with a worship focus on Prayer.  This past Sunday, our focused theme was Presence.  This Sunday, we will be looking at our Gifts.  Each of these areas represent our commitment when we join the United Methodist Church in supporting her with our Prayers, Presence, Gifts, Service and Witness.  Our Journey will continue with a Commitment Sunday on Sunday, Oct. 29th with Rev. Scott Fuller, Church Stewardship Director for Murphy Harpst, preaching.  We invite you to take an inventory of where you are in relationship to the Church and your prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness.
How might God be calling you to give of your time and talents?

Are you willing to make a commitment for 2018 that the Church can count on as it makes program and ministry plans?

Is there an opportunity for you to step-up and increase your financial commitment for the new year?

We are excited to see what God will be doing in the Church for 2018.
