This year the Christmas parade is December 7th. The theme is Christmas Across the Silver Screen – so otherwise any Christmas movie. We have chosen, ” A Christmas Carol.” We will be decorating the float and will need several people portraying the characters in the story to ride on the float. We would like to start working on the trailer as soon as we can! Anyone with any ideas are welcome so ponder how we can make this float the best. For questions or sharing your ideas, please contact Jen Henley (706.936.5093) or Kay Brogdon (770.748.6576).
We will be having a beginners crochet class on October 25th, at 6:45pm, in which we will cover the basics of crochet using the online tutorials from the Crochet Crowd. The class will be $8 in order to cover the cost of materials. If you already know how to crochet and/or knit, please contact Danette Thompson at 770.324.5240 in order to find out you can help with this project.
